First off, let me spend a few words about this amazing artist.
For those who haven't had the good fortune to check her gallery yet, Veronica is not just a photographer. She cryptically claims she's a tumbler of her soul. I'd rather say she's a tireless thrill hunter, a sophisticated thief of emotions.
Whether she stays in front or behind the camera, she always manages to turn beauty into rapture. She has a keen eye for details and never hesitates to dig beyond the surface.

As for this picture, I'm just in love with it. It's got an incredible level of details both in the brighter and the darker areas. That's definitely not easy to achieve when shooting with such a directional lighting, all the more if you have a blonde model whose hair reflects a lot of light and constantly tricks the camera exposure meter.

No disturbing elements are included that don't contribute to the subject and there's a pleasing sense of balance that leads the eye through the composition. The depth of field greatly enhances the model's mood and look. The light is contrasty but not too harsh at all.

I especially love the way the model's hair falls onto her face, looking like a sort of veil and creating an intriguing mystery atmosphere. That eye, at last, is a real masterpiece! It drags the viewer into the picture and establishes a strong emotional connection with the subject.

In summary, I really believe no one can stay indifferent in front of this photograph. It's beautiful, meaningful and deeply affects the viewer. Certainly that sort of picture you want to come back to for a second time!
